Your personal information

By telephone

You can call us on 0151 707 1900. You can also email us and request a call back at a time that suits you.

We are open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday; if you ring outside of these times, you can leave a message, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we’re open again.

Calls to our number will cost 3p a minute from a BT landline; they will cost more from mobiles. Please ask us if you would like us to call you back.

If English is not your first language, you can still ring us, and we will use Language Line to provide an interpreter during the call. You will need to tell us which language you speak. We will then need to put you on hold while we get an interpreter on the phone. Please do not hang up while we do this. Or if you give us your phone number, we can call you back when the interpreter is ready.

Feel free to give us details of your enquiry; or, if you prefer, you can simply give us a telephone number, and ask us to call you.

We are open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday; if you email us outside of these times, we’ll get back to you as soon as we’re open again.

Search for help online

You can search for help online by visiting the Family Services Directory.

The Family Services Directory (FSD) helps you find services in your areas that can help. Type in some words describing the service and the place you need it. If you get too many results then add some more words to your search to refine it. If you like, you can also pick an area to help your search along.

If you have a service that you would like us to add to the FSD, please contact us. We are interested in all services in the Liverpool area, however small. OR, If there is already a record for your service but it is out of date please let us know.

In person

If you prefer, you can call in and visit us anytime between 9am and 5pm. You will be able to speak with an Information Worker in private.

Our address is:

Unit 13, 7th Floor
Gostins Building
32-36 Hanover Street
Liverpool
L1 4LN

Gostins Building is a few doors down from the Novotel Hotel, and is just 300m walk from Liverpool One Bus Station.

Click here for a Google map showing where we are.

You can also use the Transport Direct Website to help you plan a journey from where you live, to where we are.

The Hub is on the 7th Floor, but the building has a lift. Once you have arrived at Gostins Building, take the lift to the 7th Floor and bear right until you find us at Unit 13.

Our office is accessible to wheelchair users. We also have an induction loop for visitors with hearing impairments. If you need a BSL interpreter, we can provide this – but please let us know before you plan to visit, as it may take a few days for us to ensure an interpreter can be available.

We can also provide an interpreter if English is not your first language. Again, if possible, please let us know before you plan to visit if this will be needed – an interpreter may not be available straight away, and it may take some days to arrange.

You are welcome to bring children with you when you visit us – but you’ll need to keep them with you and look after them while you’re here.

We also offer home visits to those with mobility problems, or who have difficulties using transport. Please telephone or email us if you would like to discuss this.
